Ushers
The Ushers' Ministry serves as doorkeepers in the house of the Lord united in one love, one body striving to do God's work, who are our Light and Joy of our salvation. ( Psalms 27:1) . Ushers depend on God to lead, guide and order our steps as we assist all to enter into the presence of the Lord with thanksgivings and into His courts with praise.
Purpose Statement:
As doorkeepers, we are committed to ushering, helping, and serving in a friendly manner to encourage an atmosphere of worship with decency, and in order, to the Glory of God.
Description of Ministry:
We are committed and willing to serve everyone that enters the sanctuary. We welcome our members and guests to an atmosphere of worship to the glory of God.
Scripture:
Psalm 84:10 “I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.”

Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!
2 Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
3 Know that the Lord, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

And into His courts with praise.

Greeters
The mission of the Greeters is to offer the love of Christ to our guests and welcome them in such a way that they would be transformed from strangers into friends. The Greeters Ministry is committed to dynamically greeting, reaching out and receiving people to worship, entering the Sanctuary. We are committed to assisting Worshipers in a hospitable manner as they are entering church to hear the Word of God. As Greeters we commit to fostering fellowship with men, women and children and giving the best initial and continuous worship experience entering and exiting New Beginnings Christian Church.
Our purpose is:
To make every visitor, member, or guest feel they are special and belong here; Eliminate barriers to visitors coming to New Beginnings Christian Church; Decrease the stress, anxiety, and confusion for visitors; Create a positive attitude about the church with visitors and members; Encourage transformation
from visitor to member; and Support fellowship and community for ministry members.
